It was in 1991 that Patrizia Di Benedetto, a great cuisine enthusiast, and Antonio Barraco, expert sommelier and barman, decided to take over an anonymous pub in Mondello, next to one of the most beautiful beaches in Palermo. An enormous leap in quality, but without changing the original name of the pub. The restaurant became a safe haven for a cuisine that represents the best of Sicilian food and wine, using fresh, local ingredients, tasty and contemporary ideas that are inspired by traditional dishes. Simplicity and minimalism in presentation with no links to the classical Baroque features of the Island: fish with citrus fruits, almonds and desserts, this is a signature cuisine that expresses elegance and attention to aesthetics in every dish. Another excellence of the restaurant is the wine and gin list, among the most important in Sicily with labels from all over the world, cared for by the sommelier, Claudio D’Alessandro.
