A really charming residence in Tuscany and a profound passion for cuisine and warm welcomes that encouraged Riccardo and Silvia Baracchi to turn their ancient, seventeenth-century family villa into a jewel of hospitality. As a tribute to the land of Cortona, the cuisine of chef Silvia Regi Baracchi can be described as profoundly Etruscan, drawing on ancient dishes to inspire and create mixtures combining the flavours of the area with a gourmet-style cuisine, producing a perfect balance between flavours and visual appeal. On the outside, there are traditional elements from the local architecture such as stone, brick, arches and vaults, while the veranda dining area, in glass and wrought iron, embraces the two main dining rooms and the cosy Hall of Clocks. A unique combination in the heart of Tuscany where you can enjoy some precious moments to refresh your spirit, surrounded by the sounds and smells of this ancient land. The wine production which makes the Falconiere a real wine resort, is carefully managed by Riccardo Baracchi and his son Benedetto. “Enthusiasm and passion have always been the driving force behind this marvellous adventure, and the dream has really come true,” says Riccardo.
