Massimiliano Musso, born in ‘81, is at the helm of Ca’ Vittoria guiding the prestigious and now nearly one-hundred-year-old family business, after racking up a highly respectable culinary pedigree as chef ambassador of Piedmont at the UN Building in New York, participating in the World Summit in Hong Kong and delighting Pope John Paul II with perfect delicacies during a pastoral visit to his lands.
Since 1997, when the young chef took over the kitchen stoves from his grandmother Gemma, the restaurant has enjoyed a significant thrust with its innovative dishes, while remaining faithful to the great traditions of Piedmont. Immersed in the landscape of the Langhe Roero and Monferrato Hills, one can also enjoy a stopover in one of the ten elegant rooms in the eighteenth-century house in Tigliole d’Asti, nestling among the Alfieri hills, managed with care and attention by his wife Valentina. In the evenings, you will find her in the dining room, as the restaurant’s sommelier showing the rich wine list that includes some excellent labels from near and far.
