The Mazzucchelli siblings display a synergy that goes beyond their blood ties, filling the Marconi restaurant to the brim. Since the year 2000 they have been in charge of the family restaurant, leaving behind them the path of tradition to embark on a personal and innovative journey. Aurora expresses her amazing personality in the kitchen; in her eyes, food is not just nourishment but a way of expressing her art. Her flair and creative inspiration are proportional to the usability of the dishes she offers, with their clear, effective flavours and marked aromas that appeal to every diner. Aurora starts her journey from tradition and then goes off the beaten track, using new flavours and unpredictable serving styles, while keeping the names of the recipes unchanged. Some unforgettable examples: Herring ice cream with pink prawns and peach extract, or Cape Finisterre (tagliolini of octopus with oysters, goose barnacles, sea lemons, fennel and coriander seeds). In the dining room and wine cellar, Massimo proposes a number of small producers devoted to natural methods, after an endless quest for excellence. The most charming place is the Sala del Convivio, in the spacious wine-cellar that can seat up to 26 people.
