Upon arrival, one is filled with emotion from the continuum between the rustic and authentic nature of the exterior and interior of the restaurant, carved into the rock of an old granary in the nineteenth-century building owned by the La Rosa family. The furnishings blend perfectly with the light colours of the cave and the lighting is designed with meticulous care. In this fascinating and charming atmosphere, chef Vincenzo Candiano develops a strictly Sicilian cuisine, highlighting vitality and distinct flavours. His is a histrionic proposal that embraces land and sea, provided it is all Sicilian brand, an expression of passion, work and boundless humility.
