Warm, vintage-style atmosphere, with a trim, refined design that seems suspended in time: this is the way the Friulian restaurant Al Ferarùt appears as soon as you enter the dining room with its ample ceilings and diffused lighting. Behind the glass wall, you can see the characteristic fireplace, used for grilling and for heating the space with an even more welcoming warmth. And it is precisely the warm and professional reception that raises the standard of this home, with Anamaria Hatcau who has many years’ experience pampering guests with careful advice and friendly service. The bravura in the kitchen bears the signature of her husband, Alberto Tonizzo, who coordinates a team of young chefs and confectioners who work well together. Every day he renews this safe haven for sea-based cuisine. His hobby is fishing, in particular for freshwater eels, which marks a conceptual and flavoursome journey which literally bursts your taste buds.
This elegant cuisine is accompanied by a sophisticated wine list, whose bottles lie at rest in the underground vault. And for moments of total relaxation, there’s a private room housing a collection of liqueurs and spirits from all over the world.
