The Scarello family has been here for more than 130 years, providing visitors and gourmet pilgrims with thrills and emotions. Emanuele and Michela with Tino and Ivonne and also Ivia, Severina and Ferruccio. Then Emilia and some time before, Umberto. It is hard to establish who gave birth to the tradition of gnocchi, tagliatelle, scampi with the air of brovada or who succeeded in immediately recognising the needs of guests and satisfying their curiosity; it is certain that Emanuele and Michela Scarello, the latest custodians of the family’s secrets, keep quality very high. Here every detail bears witness to tradition: the materials, the design and fittings are all evidence of the best of Friuli including its culinary traditions. From a welcome with Prosciutto di San Daniele to the potatoes from Godia, the wild herbs of Friuli and white asparagus, delicious green crab gnocchi, roast lettuce heart and crayfish buzera sauce and warm gel cannellini beans with seaweed sauce and lemon, everything here has a gourmet fragrance that fills the house.
