Seventy years of love for all things bright and beautiful nestles in the Parizzi restaurant in Parma. It was founded as a delicatessen and first became an eating house with pure, simple dishes and then leapt forward to quality catering in 1967. Marco Parizzi’s entry into the kitchens triggered the virtuoso generational change that has led to success. The accomplice in this beautiful parable is the close-knit union with his wife Cristina, who animates the dining hall and passionately cares for their 1200 labels with a total of 10,000 bottles. The minimalist surroundings provide an echo to the refined dishes, that are always perfectly legible expressions of the traditions and fragrances of Food Valley. The dining rooms house works-of-art by Marco Niccoli, providing an enthralling cultural path in perfect harmony with the cuisine: Battuto di cavallo with Italian caviar, pollen and curry bread, Ravioli stuffed with rabbit, broad beans and pecorino cheese, roast meat gravy sauce, Hare “in due cotture”. For a stopover in Parma characterised by the evolution in the best of Italian cuisine.
