This is a story that has more than a century of history: the Don Alfonso 1890 is a temple of hospitality and culinary experience, which here becomes dazzling in its union with the omnipresent Neapolitan culinary tradition. Alfonso and Livia Iaccarino have long been the guardians of those tastes that were about to be lost, and today Ernesto Iaccarino reinterprets them, giving them an international feel and adding a new signature to one of Italy’s most historic and romantic restaurants. Among the dishes that have set the pace and become the new classics of the Don Alfonso, we can mention Eel Ice-cream, Ossetra Caviar, Pasta with Rosehips and herbs, Spaghetti with mackerel, bread crumbs, pine nuts and Caramelized Onion on sauce of turnip and albacore, to complete the experience with the Concert of lemons. The cellar holds a prestigious selection of 1300 labels with more than 25000 bottles stored along a striking Pre-Roman underground passage.
